12 - a dozen. On a scientific note, it's also the atomic weight of carbon.

is it? How much carbon? Don't worry. I don't mind if it dissolves into mathsy stuff

It's the relative atomic weight. For example, hydrogen has a relative atomic weight of 1, meaning that it weighs 1/12 of the weight of carbon. The amount of a substance is measured in moles (a mole is 6 x 1023 atoms). If you look at the atomic weight of an element then that's the number of grams that a mole of the substance would weigh.

What? You're brilliant at science AND maths? Unfair! Hey, I could make your karma -1,000,000!!!!!!!!! That's fun, being able to control the karmas. I ahven't changed mine though. I think Stephi exalted me. There we go. I'm so kind. I fyou suck up to me I amy exalt you 1,000,001 times. I'm bored of keeping you at that karma though so I'll set your karma a bit higher. Is that better?

Well, I wouldn't say that I was brilliant, and maths and science are two very close subjects (particularly physics). A lot of maths (such as calculus) was developed to help with physics.

I don't know all that stuff. Do you know how I could get any more members to this site because not all people on the maths ones are sciency.

Well, after 10 posts you become a worker, and after 1000 you're ruler of the world. 50 is pa and 100 is executive and 500 is senior executive I think
