I just wondered about this, because everyone (including me, I'm not getting at anyone. There's nothing wrong with it) seems to be modding every board not just the one they're on. And I would like to change it slightly so can you both vote to say what you would like to do. I shall not vote until both of you have,.

I like the current system; however, I suggest if one of us browses a board and the board's mod seems to be neglecting their duty then they could step in, or PM them or something pointing out the issue... basically, leave the situation be unless its obvious someone isn't modding like they should.

That's quite a good idea. I'll see what Stephi thinks, and then I'll go for the one I like best out of those 2if they're different. Is that ok?

I think that you should have one mod to do a particular job/s, e.g. tidying boards, deleting SPAM, locking threads etc., then you could have everyone as mods of all the boards.

I like that idea too. In fact, I shall use that idwa combined with crgs. So I shall keep all your powers the same and give everyone smething to do, and then if they are neglecting their duty somone else will take over. What does everyone like to do? I'd quite like to be SPAM remover but what do you want? I guess we'll need newsbox manager, SPAM remover, locking-threads-that-aren't-replyed-toer, calender executive, thread stickier, and some other stuff I've forgotten. Everyone say 2 things they wanty to do, I'd have thought, an then if moe than person want to do the same thing I'll try and sort it,
And I'd quite like MOQ as a moderator, because I think she'd do quite a good job. I've given her a pm inviting her to become one.Well, can you both sY WHAt jobs you would like to do?

Ok, firstly, I like the new system.
I'm not sure what I would like to do; I don't particularly mind - so I'll do whatever.

Ok, what does that do? After much deliberation I have guessed on these positions for everyone to take. Bubble: SPAM deleter and general tidying Stephi: thread manager ( does that involve stickying, locking, deleting threads etc? If so, that's probably a big enough job for you to have on it's own. Unless there are any objections.) CRG: calender updater and Newsbox tidier (yes. That does mean permanent newsbox powers. So all mods will have it now, but CRG, you are in charge of makng sure that people don't SPAM on it (ok, mainly me), and making the colours pretty and maybe even techinicolour!!!) MOQ: forum prettiness (I mean making sure the colours don't clash, the boards look in a nice order etc)
so the posh names for all of our titles are: Bubble: Tidying Manager Stephi: Thread Manager CRG: Public information Manager MOQ: Design Manager
Although of course all of us are responsible for making sure that everybody sticks to the posting policy, and please can everyone try and think of ways to publicise this forum..... because I can't, and it would be nice to have more than 4 RPM's.

I've been fiddling and you and MOQ are two different names, but you have similar powers, except mm has the powers for fiddling with board settings, and you have powers for calender and newsbox settings. Plus, I like having lots of different names. I choe the coolest element names I could find. How do you like being Ununbium?

I like the names. And do I still have the same powers as before? I wasn't sure ... dodgy memory ... either way, I like the new system.

Oooh! Prettyfication! Sounds good!
You may notice that the forum becomes purple, red and white in the next few days - this is my favourite colour scheme.
Indeed, it has already. You can change it in your personal settings.

Okay. I'll add it to the posting policy soon. And some other stuff on this board others should know about, eg swearing.
Ack!! Just changed it!! It's kinda surreal and I like it, except you can't see the writing up the top.

You can on the front page, but not elsewhere. I don't know why that is. I'll mess with it later, see if I can sort it.
I've messed with it - it's now worse. I'll keep at it.
