Post by bubble on Feb 2, 2006 21:37:24 GMT
Why is an ocarina any more difficult than any other instrument?

It's not. All instruments are to be used with great difficulty. Except drums. That's not too hard...

A full drumkit is quite ahrd to play, and sound decent. The hardest rhythm I can playu on one (not that I've tried much) is duh- DUH, duh duh DUH! Wjereas actual drummers casn play really cool complicated patterns.

I can play any pattern (well, within reason), once. It's the repeating it consistently that I can't do.

I've only just found this thread, but since, despite the devilishly cunning ploy of choosing a different username, you've all managed to work out who I am, it doesn't matter too much.
Oi, what about me? Outside interests:
Music (more specifically, horn playing) Square chess Circular chess Cricket Squash Tennis Table tennis Canoe polo Long jump Linguistics Marathons Charity fundraising (especially where this involves an elephant costume) Quizzes Reading Politics (standing for Union positions, losing, asking awkward questions, coming quite close to making those on the receiving end of them cry) Campaigning (yay, more arguing) Random silly games etc. etc.

Hum...
"with the fullest experience of the non-mathematical, non-random, normal slog of life" perhaps? No...
"I am."
That works a lot better, methinks.

Proffessional mourners. Except I don't think I am, because the mourners have to do a 'stylistic' hair-puling out kind of dance/movements in time to a beat.
Although the angels aren't muchbetter. As that I have to sing, and wear a costume made out of white bin bags. Sytill,. my friends are doing it too, so it should be quite fun;
